We are pleased to announce its sponsorship again this year, of ten balloons in the upcoming Shine Virtual Balloon Race.
Shine is a charity that raises funds for families and individuals affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus. One of the ways it raises money is through a virtual, interactive balloon race.
“This is great way of raising money for a great charity,” said Ben Bolt, our CEO and co-founder. “We didn’t hesitate to enter more balloons for the race this year. It should be fun to see how we get on.”
Progress of our balloons during the race can be tracked online , and even strengthened by encouraging support via social media.
Powering awareness of a great cause
Shaun Pitchers, of the charity, said: “I would like to say a massive thank you for Utility Point’s support in our balloon race and also for promoting and creating awareness about the work we do and services we provide for our members.”
The race starts on 1 May 2020, with the virtual balloons launched from Peterborough Cathedral.
